On August 21, 2010, Kenny Martin, outgoing President of the Dublin Civitan Club was sworn in as incoming Governor, Georgia District, Civitan International. Martin, who will take office on October 1, 2010, was supported by eighteen members and spouses of the Dublin club at the King and Prince Resort on Saint Simons Island. After the event, Kenny and his wife, Jennie, along with the support of the spouses, hosted a well attended reception in Martin's honor. Governor Martin named Bruce Birch, incoming President of the Dublin Club as his Sergeant at Arms of Georgia District.
