I took these pictures of a kaleidoscope of Blue Swallowtails mud pudding at the boat landing of the Sportsmans Club in Laurens County, Georgia on the banks of the Oconee River.  Swallowtails, especially the males, engage in mud pudding to obtain nutrients, such as salt and amino acids from the mud along river and creek banks.
