As the American population grows older, decisions about healthcare often become more complex. Ethical issues in long-term care continue to present challenges for both administrators and healthcare professionals. This workshop will focus on legal and ethical concerns that impact the care of our elderly population, while creating a forum for the discussion of quantity and quality of life issues. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to create an environment conducive to ethical decision making. In addition, this informative and interactive workshop will assist participants in identifying their own personal roles in ethical leadership.
