The Georgia Alpaca Association presents this FREE, family friendly event at the site of the Olympic equestrian events, the Georgia International Horse Park, in Conyers, GA just 28 miles east of Atlanta off I-20. Alpaca owners from across the US compete in the show ring for cash prizes! Fiber arts demonstrations, vendors offering all things alpaca and a Silent Auction filled with treasures for all ages make this an excitingly diverse event for the whole family. Vet students, 4-H, FFA, Young Farmers and anyone interested in this unique, fiber animal have an opportunity to learn about raising them directly from the owners. Fiber arts organizations will enjoy. Adults and children delight in meeting the gentle alpacas!
